We got this product from Mothercare for bathing Rohan. It was one of many of Subhash's brilliant ideas.

It has been a life-saver and makes bathing the baby very very easy. I highly recommend it for anyone who has to raise an infant without help.

Unfortunately, Mothercare neither ships this to the US nor does it have any brick and mortar stores in the US (it has in the Far East, Asia,Middle East and Europe). I really wonder why.

But Subhash found for me, something very similar shipping at Amazon.

Ohh, and while at the topic of products and cross-continent pricing, what is with Medela products selling in India for twice the price that they sell in the US?!??!?!?! Damn! This is why I love Fisher Price. They sell ALL their stuff in India at exactly the same price as in the US (with a 1 USD = 50 INR exchange rate, which I think is reasonable) and this I highly appreciate.

There are so many of such cute and useful baby products, ain't it? My cousin has a 6 month old baby boy and am always fascinated by the baby's stuff. So well thought....and well made.

I found something like this at my friend's, she uses to bathe her newborn. Very handy.

Actually, I feel that almost all the US products are priced double or triple in India. Look at diapers and even things like bouncers etc.(Fisher Price included). Where are you able to get them at the same conversion rate in Bangalore. Even mothercare products, I buy only during sales.

@Rupa - Yeah, you bet!
@Shilpa - Must be that other thing I linked through Amazon?
@Rachna - Pinks and Blues in Cradle and Apple of my I in Indiranagar both have Fisher Price stuff at 1 USD = 50 INR. We got the Fisher Price Rocker for 4K, which is 80$ in the US.

This looks like quite a useful baby product for a mother not having much help. In fact I have a relative whose due date is just a month away, I am surely going to suggest this to her.Thanks for this post :)
